Fayette County State Court Judge Jason Thompson recently visited third-grade students at Peachtree City Elementary School to discuss the branches of government and judicial process.
Judge Thompson’s visit comes as an extension of the classrooms’ studies of the roots of democracy and the American government system.
Students enjoyed learning about different aspects of Judge Thompson’s job and the way that the branches of government interact together.
Thompson is pictured with students and PCES principal Kristin Berryman.
