North Fayette Elementary School has opened its first Jr. Beta club chapter. Ten of the school’s fifth-grade students became the inaugural members during a Nov. 17 ceremony.
Beta’s mission is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary schools. The organization has helped nearly seven million students and awarded more than $5 million in scholarships.
