“Hope in Haiti” is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 20, 10-11 a.m. at Fayette Senior Services’ Fayetteville location (The Life Enrichment Center, 4 Center Drive).
Hear the incredible story from Rachel Isons, the daughter of a victim of the 7.0 earthquake that hit Haiti in 2010. After suffering a stroke and being admitted the hospital, her father was taken out just in time to watch it fall to the ground before him. Rachel shares the story of trying to communicate with people in Haiti to make sure he was safe and trusting that he was alive and the miraculous rescue that was orchestrated to get him out of the country to be treated.
