Jewel Faye Swygert, 77, of Fayetteville, passed away November 6, 2016. She was born to Walter Hall and Mary E. McMurray in Columbia, S.C. on November 22, 1938.  

Mrs. Swygert is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Swygert, and her parents.  

She is survived by daughters, Sharon (Randy) McDaniel of McDonough, Pamela (Robert) Davis of Newnan and Laurie (Paul) Huey of Jackson; sister, Patricia Putman of Blackhawk, Colo.; brother, Walter T. Hall, Jr. of Waldorf, Md.; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will take place Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel with Reverend Dennis Smith and Reverend Doug Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the funeral home.
