The 9th Annual Spirit Walk was held Oct. 21-22 at the Fayetteville Cemetery and came complete with the spirits from the past. One of those was Gary Pate, played by Ron Stubbs. Pate, a graduate of Fayette County High School and member of Blind Bat 01, lost his life during the the Vietnam War. The heavily-attended annual event is sponsored by the Holliday Dorsey Fife Museum.
