The Zombie 5K is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29, at Ashley Park, 370 Newnan Crossing Bypass in Newnan.
Participants are encouraged to walk, creep, crawl or run while wearing their best zombie or ghoulish outfits.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 9. The award presentation begins at 10.
Register early to save money. Prices increase as the race gets closer.
Medals will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in the following age categories: 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. All children 13 and under will receive special participation medals.
Race packets can be picked up Oct. 26-28 at Dragonfly Running in downtown Newnan.
