The Peachtree City Chapter of New Neighbors League Club (NNLC) announced Jennifer Martin as the October New Neighbor of the Month.
Martin joined NNLC in November of 2014. Originally from New Mexico, she spent her schooling years in Texas. She moved to Peachtree City from Indiana where she spent 15 years as a reference librarian.
She and her husband, Tim, have been married for 28 years. They are Disney Super Fans and have taken multiple Disney cruises. They have three basset hounds which keep them busy.
In the club Jennifer has participated in Let’s Eat Healthy, Adventures in Dining and has just taken over the Wine Group. She has served as Chair of Prospective Membership, and Chair of Subscriptions and Mailings, where she is currently serving a second term. The club is grateful for her renovation of the member notification system.
NNLC’s purpose is to bring newcomers to the area together so that they may meet and become friends while adjusting to new surroundings. It is a not-for-profit social organization that has a wide variety of activities.
