Candlelight vigil set for Oct. 18

Since 2003, over 1575 Georgia individuals have lost their lives to domestic violence.

A candlelight vigil is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. at the Old Courthouse Square in Fayetteville in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

This vigil aimed at uniting the community to end domestic violence is sponsored by The Griffin Judicial Circuit Domestic Violence Task Force.

Candles will be lit in honor of those who lost their lives this past year to domestic violence.
