Last weekend the Fayette County Cross-Country Championships took place at Inman Elementary School.

McIntosh (35) took first place in varsity girls competition, ahead of Starr’s Mill (39), Whitewater (69), Sandy Creek (125), Fayette County (126) and Our Lady of Mercy (154). Top individual finishers:

Megan Uszynski, McIntosh, 19:12.

Mary Valli, Starr’s Mill High, 19:36.

Megan Dobso, Starr’s Mill, 19:53.

Zoe Smith, McIntosh, 20:08.

Brianna Sattinger, McIntosh, 20:17.

Ashley McMahon, Whitewater, 20:38.

Rachel Ward, McIntosh, 21:04.

Sydney Hukin, Our Lady of Mercy, 21:06.

Zemmie Steger, Starr’s Mill, 21:29.

Anna Agi, Whitewater, 21:44.

Sarah Sorme, Sandy Creek, 21:45.

For the varsity boys, Starr’s Mill (34) finished first, followed by Whitewater (44), McIntosh (58), Fayette County (121), Sandy Creek (139) and Our Lady of Mercy (156). Top individual finishers:

Nick Nyman, Starr’s Mill, 16:25.

Harrison Fultz, Starr’s Mill, 16:39.
