The CARE (Children at Risk in Education) program of the Fayette County Public School System was selected by Keller Williams Realty in Peachtree City as a benefactor of the realty agency’s Kares 4 Kids shopping event.

CARE was among 14 children’s organizations in the metro Atlanta area that were part of the shopping spree that took place on September 9 at the Costco in Duluth. According to CARE Coordinator Karen Spangler, Keller Williams gave the program $1,550 to purchase items that would be most useful to students in-need within the school system.

“We purchased snacks, personal hygiene products, underwear, socks, jeans, shirts, hoodies, and jackets. We are very grateful to Keller Williams for this generous donation,” said Spangler.

CARE assists students and their families who are struggling financially by providing necessities for school success, as well as sponsors programs to help students and families cope with difficult life situations.
