Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City invites all pets to the annual Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. at the church. On the Sunday closest to St. Francis Day, a brief service is celebrated, then each pet is blessed individually. For their safety, pets should be on leash or caged appropriately.
