More than 500 people attended the “Fayetteville Will Never Forget” ceremony held on Sept. 11 on the grounds of the old courthouse. The faith-based event included prayers and comments from Christian, Jewish and Muslim speakers along with retired U.S. Army Gen. Jack Wheeler.
