Bands come together for performance

The eighth-grade band students at J.C. Booth Middle School took the field at halftime of a recent McIntosh High School football game along with the Spirit of McIntosh Marching Band.

The night was made possible by the band directors at MHS (director Barbara Baker and assistant director Michelle Amosu).

According to a spokesperson, “They invited all of the eighth-grade band students from Booth to come and take part in the band during a football game so that the eighth graders would know how much fun being a part of the marching band will be when they get to McIntosh next year as freshmen.”
