Terrell “Terry” Dee O’Rear, 81, passed away in Union City, Ga. on July 27, 2016.  

He was born on February 4, 1935 in Jasper, Ala. to Lou and Craig O’Rear.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Cain O’Rear and his parents.  

He is survived by daughters. Terri McKinsey (James) and Lisa Thayer (Thomas); son, T. David O’Rear (Elizabeth); brother, Leon O’Rear; four granddaughters, Laura McKinsey, Leah Thayer, Sarah McKinsey and Evelyn O’Rear; three grandsons, Robert Thayer, James McKinsey and Jacob McKinsey.

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Dr. J. W. Wallis officiating. Burial immediately followed the service at Lisbon Baptist Church Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ga.  The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016 at the funeral home.
