Jerry Wayne Johnson, 74, passed away on July 28, 2016. He was born in Atlanta, Ga. on February 10, 1942 to Clarence and Gertrude Johnson.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 32-1/2 years, Betty A. Johnson; his sons, Chuck Johnson (Shiela), Drew Johnson (Tina) and Todd Walters (Kristi); his daughter, Shelli Lance (Shane); his grandchildren, Morgan Walters, Savannah Johnson, Chase Lance, Haley Johnson, MacKenzie Walters and Colby Lance; his brother, Cleveland; and his sisters, Betty Joyce and Joann.
His funeral service was held at 5 p.m. on July 31, 2016 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Pastor Mark Ward officiating. The family received friends from 4 – 5 p.m. prior to the service.
