Christina Cortes is this year’s recipient of the Veterans of Foreign Wars’ Scout of the Year Award.
The VFW’s Scout of the Year program recognizes members of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts who display standout citizenship, patriotism and love of country.
The award was presented at Girl Scout Camp Loblolly by Dallas Wurst of the VFW Post 9949.
