Robert Kyzer, 91, of Fayetteville, passed away on June 12, 2016.
He was a World War II Veteran, serving in the US Army.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years June Coxwell Kyzer, son-in-law Steve Gable, parents Robert & Viola Kyzer, Sr., and 14 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by daughters Judy Gable of Fayetteville and Susan (Rick) Strawn of Suwanee; grandchildren, Jeff (Amy) Gable of Sharpsburg, Sharon Gable of Fayetteville, Sarah (Kris) Daniels of Suwanee, and Jared Strawn of Lawrenceville; great-grandchildren Brianna Gable and Brayden Gable of Sharpsburg and Aiden Daniels, Gavin Daniels, and Shelbi Daniels of Suwanee; and sister Frances Kyzer Watson of Dublin.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, Fayetteville, with Dr. David Campbell and Rev. Carolyn Clifton officiating. Mr. Kyzer will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. The family received friends on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
