Marc Dobens Pelletier, 57, of Fayetteville, Ga., passed away peacefully after a long illness on May 10, 2016, at the Emory University Hospital/Hospice Midtown in Atlanta, Ga. with his family by his side.
He was born on November 11, 1958 in Manchester, N. H. and was the son of Elizabeth A. (Dobens) Pelletier and the late F. Joseph Pelletier. Marc graduated from Nashua (N. H.) High School in 1976 and attended Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, N. H. Just prior to his illness, he was employed by Cabinet Transformations.
Marc was witty, sharp-witted, had a great sense of humor, and was always up for a good time. He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed building and repairing things whether they were wooden, mechanical or electronic. He loved playing the guitar, listening to music, being at the beach, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his son Joe Chrisman of Nashua, N. H.; mother Betty Pelletier, sister Kim Pelletier, and brother-in-law Tony Giovannitti of Fayetteville, Ga.; and granddaughter Ayvah Chrisman of Nashua, N.H.
Marc was preceded in death by his father, Joe Pelletier.
A memorial service will be scheduled in New Hampshire at a later date.
