Youth Council workshop April 23

The Fayette County Youth Council sponsors its second Youth Economic Empowerment Workshop Saturday, April 23, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Fayette County Public Library, 1821 Heritage Park Way in Fayetteville.

The Youth Economic Empowerment Workshop presentations will cover various career options and occupations, education & training requirements, job applications, effective interviews, salary/compensation, job readiness, SAT/ ACT tutorials and test taking strategies.

Workshop presenters include an educator, testing tutor/educational consultant, professional athlete/Olympian, college student/artist, engineer, architect, commercial airline pilot, attorney, career coach and manager.

There will be a free lunch buffet from noon until 1 p.m.
