Sue Jantosciak, 70, of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, after a brief illness.  

Mrs. Jantosciak was born in Benevento, Italy on March 28, 1946, daughter of the late Vincent and Leda Yatarola. She was a graduate of Dolgeville High School and received her college degree from the State University of New York, at Oswego.  On June 9, 1979, she married Bruce Jantosciak, in Little Falls, New York. Mrs. Jantosciak spent a large portion of her adult life in Little Falls, but she had resided in Peachtree City, Ga. since 1994.  

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Jantosciak was employed at the American Cancer Society and the Girl Scouts of America. She was an avid gardener who loved planting and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her family, who she loved very much. She was a devoted wife and caring mother to her children, and her family could always rely on her for guidance.  

Mrs. Jantosciak is survived by her loving family: her husband, Bruce Jantosciak; daughters: Kelly Gibbs Devereese and partner James Owens; Leslie Gibbs Haberman and husband Charles Haberman; and Jillian Jantosciak; grandchildren: Dylan Devereese, Emily Devereese, Joseph Haberman, and Grace Haberman.  She leaves her brother, Arthur Yatarola and sister-in-law, Judy Yatarola, and nephew, Scott Yatarola. She is also survived by many cousins who live in Dolgeville, New York, and Benevento, Italy.  

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the Cathedral of Christ the King, of which she was a member. It is located at 4881 GA-34, Sharpsburg, Ga., 30277 (770-252-2428).  For those interested in sending flowers, they may be sent to the Cathedral of Christ the King, for her memorial service.  

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
