Gloria Jean Campbell, 80, of Fayetteville passed away on March 1, 2016.  

She was born and raised in the parish of St. Catherine on the beautiful island of Jamaica. In 1969 she migrated to New York City. She was employed at Peninsula Hospital and provided 25 years of service. After retirement, she moved to Fayetteville where she enjoyed cooking and gardening. She loved to travel.  She was a faithful servant of Christ and attended Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.  

Mrs. Campbell is survived by her husband of 52 years, Noel Campbell; her sons, Courtney Campbell of Baltimore, Md. and Sean and Silvana Campbell of Valley Stream, N.Y.; her daughter, Nadine and Warren Heusner of Port Orange, Fla.; her grandchildren, Margaux and Nicholas Heusner and Olivia Campbell; five sisters and one brother; numerous nieces and nephews; and cherished lifelong friends.

Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, with Pastor Justin Kollmeyer officiating. The family received friends at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville on Monday, March 7, 2016.
