The Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting youth volleyball registrations through Feb. 26. The volleyball leagues are for girls in grades 5-12.
These leagues are designed to promote volleyball skill development in players, provide fun opportunities to explore the sport of volleyball, and help players develop the character traits and values gained through sport participation, according to league organizers.
Registration will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis with spaces limited to the first 36 people in each of the different divisions based on their grade level – Silver (grades 5-6), Gold (grades 7-8) and High School (grades 9-12).
Player resident fees start at $40 and include a team shirt.
