The public is invited Sunday, Feb. 28, at the 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. services for The Olivet Church’s annual Heritage Day.
The guest speaker will be Reverend Stephon Ferguson as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. from the Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church in Atlanta.
The theme is “As A People Who Stands Together, Our Story Stands Forever” from Joshua 4:4-7 (NRSV). Attendees are encouraged to wear African or vintage attire.
The Olivet Church is in the heart of north Fayetteville at 877 Ga Highway 314 North, between Ga. Highway 138 and Ga. Highway 85.
