Mae Evelyn Adams, 90, of Fayetteville passed away January 28, 2016.  

She was born on June 7, 1925 and was a sixth generation Fayette County native. She was a long-time member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.  Mae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, James W. Adams; parents Hugh and Emma Perry; daughter-in-law Lois Adams; brother Marvin Perry; sister Velma Bledsoe and sister Elizabeth Miklas.  

She is survived by her daughter Elaine (Jim) Fulton of Peachtree City; son Doug Adams of Fayetteville; grandsons Adam (Jessica) Fulton of Woodstock; Mike (Minka) Fulton of Peachtree City; Ryan (Anjeline) Adams of Jacksonville, Fla.; Marc (Addie) Adams of Avondale Estates; great-granchildren Alex Fulton; Olivia Fulton; Lauren Fulton; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City, Ga.  The family welcomed friends and family prior to the service from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Carl J Mowell & Son Funeral Home in Peachtree City.
