Kindergarten enrollment underway

Kindergarten enrollment for 2016-2017 is underway at the school system’s Enrollment and Records Center, 205 LaFayette Avenue in Fayetteville (behind Arby’s on Glynn Street).

The school system is in the process of planning class assignments for next year. Parents are being asked to enroll their children as soon as possible so the number of teachers and classes at each school can be determined.

Students must turn age 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2016 to attend kindergarten.

Parents need to complete the online registration form prior to bringing required documents to the Enrollment and Records Center. To start the registration process, go to www.fcboe.org and click the “Departments” tab at the top, select the “Enrollment and Records Center” link, and then the “Student Enrollment Procedures” link on and left-hand side. After completing the online portion of the registration process, take the required documents to the Enrollment and Records Center to finish the enrollment.
