Amy Melton, a junior music education major at Columbus State University, has been selected to study at Regent’s Park College at Oxford University in England.

She was named a Spencer Scholar, in memory of benefactors Mr. and Mrs. J. Kyle Spencer, and received a full tuition scholarship to study from January to June.

Melton will research a variety of musical subjects, including music history and the works of composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. In additional to her studies, she will participate in instrumental and vocal ensembles.
