Heritage Christian Church in Fayetteville is seeking sponsors for its upcoming “A Christmas of Compassion,” Dec. 9-13, highlighting the important work of Stadia and Compassion International.

The event will feature an indoor ice skating rink, theatrical performances on Friday and Saturday, an outdoor Nativity, beautiful lights, free treats, and a concert featuring professional Christian artist Geoff Moore. Compassion International is also sending its Compassion Experience unit to allow people to experience what life is like in some of these communities.

Heritage’s goal is to raise funds to start two new churches in Ecuador and to see 200 children sponsored. The church is asking for local sponsors to cover the cost of the event so every dollar raised during the five-day event in December will benefit the church plant and sponsoring children through Compassion International.

To obtain a sponsor form and learn more about ways to support this meaningful event, visit www.heritagechristian.org or the church’s Facebook page.

Heritage is  at the corner of Redwine Road and Bernhard Road in Fayetteville.
