The Blue Angels are coming to Peachtree City, and nearly 45,000 people are expected to attend. With that in mind, Peachtree City officials are providing traffic and parking information to make the experience smoother.
Dividend Drive and the Airport will only have parking for those who have purchased advanced parking permits, according to officials. Traffic on Highway 74 South is expected to be very heavy. Motorists are asked to avoid this area if not attending the air show. Event parking is available at:
1. Southside Church, Robinson Road/Crosstown/Ebenezer
2. Starr’s Mill High School
3. Panasonic
4. Eaton / Cooper Lighting / Sany
5. NCG Theater, Hwy 54 / Hwy 34, Sharpsburg
6. Hwy 54 / Lester Road (Fayette County)
There will be no free golf cart parking at the Air Show and no golf cart crossing at Hwy. 74 and Crosstown.
Golf cart and motorcycle parking for the Air Show is free at Southside Church (Robinson Rd./Crosstown/Ebenezer) and at Starr’s Mill High School. Those wishing to drive their golf cart or motorcycle to the air show should park at one of these lots and then ride the shuttle bus to the event. The only parking on Dividend Drive for the Air Show requires a pre-paid parking permit. Other former parking areas are now shuttle drop-off zones.
