When students in Lauren Schell-Bozone’s graphic design class at McIntosh High learned that the Peachtree City Auxiliary Force needed a logo for the annual Blue Lights and Sirens 5K Run/Walk, they quickly got to work brainstorming potential designs.

Students Tynan Fortune, Taylor Jefferson-Hamler and Sam Knowles submitted several proposals, with the Auxiliary Force selecting one of them as the official logo of the event. The logo is featured on advertisement materials, and will also be printed on T-shirts for event participants.

The Blue Lights and Sirens Run is a 5K Run/Walk that gives citizens a healthy way to support local law enforcement. The funds raised will be used to outfit patrol officers with body cameras. The run is scheduled for Oct. 24.
