On Sunday, October 18, 2015, Robert Maxwell Jackson IV passed on to Heaven to be with his mother Dawn and his dog Chevy.
We do not understand why God chose to take Robby at the young age of 35. We only know that God needs Robby now and that his mother, Dawn, has already embraced him in her arms in Heaven.
Robby is the proud father of Robert Maxwell Jackson V (a.k.a. Jack) and is the husband of Vicki Blair Jackson. They are expecting their second child in April of 2016. Robby will be remembered for many things, but most of all fishing, playing the guitar and his love for history. Robby never met a stranger and would gladly give anyone the shirt off his back (unless they were a democrat!).
Robby is a brother to Matt Jackson and Missy Owens. His love for his siblings was defined by his playful attitude and his ability to make us smile. Robby was born on December 27, 1979 in Atlanta, Ga. to parents, Robert Maxwell Jackson III and mother Dawn Kirby Jackson. He is a graduate of Fayette County High School and proudly earned a degree in History from Georgia Southern University. Robby worked with multiple agencies and was most recently an inventory specialist with the automotive industry.
He is survived by many loving family members and friends. The family received friends at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Ga. from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville, Ga. Allen Daniel will be officiating.
We are all better for knowing Robby, and Heaven is certainly a better place now. Momma hen has called one of her chicken’s home (Johnny Cash).
