Robert Earl “Bobby” Savage, 82, of Peachtree City, passed away on September 17, 2015.
He was born to Earl and Mary Lee Savage on May 11, 1933 in Tupper Lake, N. Y. Bobby was an avid golfer and motorcycle racer. No matter what he was doing, he strived to be the very best. He achieved 5 holes in one, was a professional scuba diver, treasure hunter and guitar player.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Bruce Savage and Brian Savage; and his sister Marian Creedon.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brenda Savage; his daughter, Bonnie Johnson (Jeffrey) of Muncie, Ind.; his step-daughter, Oretha Franzese (Salvatore) of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; his sons, Blaine Earl Savage (Mary) of Sharpsburg, and Barry John Savage, Eaton, Ind.; his step-son, Alan Pottinger (Kristin) of Lexington Park, Md.; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; his brother; Michael Savage of Tupper Lake, N.Y.; his sisters, Irene Savage of Gastonia, S.C. and Isabell Gale of California.
The funeral service was held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Peachtree City at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Tupper Lake, N. Y. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Wounded Warrior Project, http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
