Keeping its tradition of honoring local law enforcement and safety personnel on Patriot’s Day, Whitewater High hosted its annual breakfast for Fayette County’s first responders.

The Whitewater High student ambassadors served and waited on deputies of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, including Sheriff Barry Babb, and emergency responders from the Fayette County Fire Department.

The Whitewater High Student Ambassador program started the event in 2006 when they hosted a barbeque lunch honoring the county’s first responders in remembrance of 9/11.

The student ambassador program is student leadership organization that promotes goodwill within Whitewater High and the outside community.
