More than 75 classic cars will be showcased at an Open House & Classic Car Show Saturday, Sept. 19, noon-4 p.m. on the campus of Christian City in southwest Atlanta, near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The public is invited to attend the free event to tour the Christian City campus, view classic cars, and hear live music by a barbershop quartet and marching band. Food vendors will be available, and shuttle bus tours will be ongoing at the event. The Christian City Welcome Center is located at 7345 Red Oak Road in Union City.
More than 1,000 people live in the 500-acre Christian City community, which was established in 1965. Today, in addition to The Children’s Village residential program for children 5-18, senior adult living options at Christian City include retirement homes, assisted living, skilled nursing and rehab, Alzheimer’s/dementia care, hospice care, and home health care.
