County band exhibition Sept. 21

All of the Fayette County high school marching bands will put their talents on display at the annual Marching Band Exhibition scheduled for Monday, Sept. 21, starting at 6 p.m. at Starr’s Mill High School. Each marching band will perform its 2015 season program.

Tickets will be sold at the gate and admission is $5. Admission is free for all middle school band members wearing their band shirts.

Along with the performances from the high schools, the eighth-grade band members from all the middle schools will also perform.

Concessions will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the event will go to the SMHS bands.

The rain date is Tuesday, Sept. 22.
