Preparations are underway for Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church’s 10th annual Yard Sale for Ranch on Jesus Ministries in Uganda on July 17th and 18th. Volunteers are sorting and pricing the mountains of donations for the sale which has gained quite a reputation with area bargain shoppers while benefiting children in East Africa.
This year’s sale will run from 7 am to 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 18.
Donations can be dropped off at the church Monday, July 13 through Wednesday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Only flat screen TVs will be accepted. Clothing should be limited to in style items in good condition.
The annual event sends proceeds to Ranch on Jesus, an orphanage in Uganda. The sale was begun by former Carriage Lane member, Jamie Rosser Laslo. The first sale in 2004 raised over $7,000.
Carriage Lane is at the corner of Carriage Lane and Ga. Highway 54 in Peachtree City.
