Mrs. Ernie Lou Flippen, 72, of Fayetteville, Ga. passed away June 24, 2015.

Mrs. Flippen will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was an avid bowler and devoted homemaker.

Mrs. Flippen is survived by beloved husband, John L. Flippen; son Andy (Jennie) Flippen of Bishop, Ga.; daughter Sandra Hollar of Senoia, Ga.; sister Sylvia Collins of Cana, Va.; Ernie’s twin sister Pernie Sue Arnold (Wayne) of Broken Arrow, Okla.; brother Gene Vernon (Gloria) of Versailles, Mo; brother Franklin Vernon (Judy) of Rocky Mount, Va.; grandchildren John Hollar and Nathan, Ty & Anna Flippen.

She is preceded in death by her parents Cleve and Emmie Vernon and brothers Cecil Vernon and Bobby Vernon.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville with Pastor Gene Breed and Pastor Jamie Walker and Reverend Woody Flippen officiating. The burial immediately followed at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville with Pastor Ronnie Collins officiating.
