The South Atlanta Association of Health Underwriters (SAAHU) recently presented a check for $3,700 to Christian City for funds raised at the SAAHU 4th Annual Golf Tournament at Orchard Hills Golf Club in Newnan, with proceeds benefitting The Children’s Village at Christian City.
Randy McDaniel, a Henry County insurance agent as well as the public service chair and past president of South Atlanta AHU, expressed appreciation for the work done at Christian City.
“This is the fourth year of donating the proceeds from our annual golf tournament to The Children’s Village at Christian City. We believe in this ministry and the difference The Children’s Village is making in the lives of the children they serve,” he said. “They aren’t just providing food and shelter; they are also making every child feel loved and appreciated. We’re already looking forward to doing this again next year.”
“We’re so grateful for this generous donation,” said Phil Kouns, COO of The Children’s Village at Christian City. “This kind of ongoing financial support from the community is what makes it possible for us to continually serve the children who come to us in need.”
McDaniel presented the check to Kouns along with Ashley Bonner, fund development specialist at Christian City.
