Eloise Findley Waters, 87, of Navarre, Fla. and Fayetteville, Ga., passed away on May 25, 2015.
Eloise was a devoted wife to Malard “Muddy” Waters for 67 years and a loving mother and grandmother. She was an executive secretary, member of PTO, Garden Club, Coast Guard Auxilliary, Sunday School teacher. She also grew award winning irises and enjoyed square dancing. She traveled to almost all 50 states and to eight countries.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lori Marsengill Lamneck and her parents, Manford and Velma Findley.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Vickie (Jimmy) Roberts and Gail (Dennis) Marsengill; her grandchildren, Jeff Roberts, Jennifer Roberts Karaharan, Sara Marsengill Clair and Jill Roberts Hobbs; nine great-grandchildren; her sisters, Hazel Martineau and Shelia Aldredge; and her brother, Russell Findley.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on May 28, 2015, at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Reverend Lee Ayers officiating. Interment followed at Camp Memorial Park. The family received friends on May 27, 2015 at the funeral home.
