The Peachtree City Optimist Club recently awarded two scholarships to two graduating seniors to assist them as they continue their education in college.
Sasha Smith of Whitewater High School and Caitlyn Smith of Fayette County High School were guests of the Optimist Club at their meeting this month and were presented the checks to the colleges of their choice.
Assisting in the presentation were scholarship chairman Jack Finn and club president Stony Lohr.
