American Legion Post 105 will host a Memorial Day ceremony Monday, May 25, at the Fayetteville City Cemetery.
The traditional observance for the citizens of Fayette County will begin at 11 a.m. and will be held amongst the American flag-decorated graves of the military veterans buried there.
Guest speakers include state Sen. Marty Harbin and retired U.S. Army Major Gen. Robert Griffin.
The historic cemetery is located off Hwy. 54 adjacent to the Fayette County Board of Education. Bring lawn chairs.
