Two visiting groups were hosted by the Senoia Area Historical Society last week.

SAHS member Bonnie Bobbitt conducted a one-hour driving tour of Senoia points of interest April 30 for the Morrow Methodist Church Ramblers.  The visitors then toured the SAHS History museum.

A group of Georgia-Tennessee Optimists came to town May 1, ate breakfast at the Veranda Historic Inn and then toured the SAHS History Museum before heading downtown to shop Senoia’s Sidewalk Sale.

Both groups enjoyed hearing about Senoia’s rich heritage, according to a society spokesperson.

The SAHS conducts private tours by appointment. Contact the museum director at 770-599-9677 or visit senoiahistoricalsociety.org if you have an interest in one.
