Mr. Ira Crawford Rowell, age 86, of Fayetteville passed away April 21, 2015.
Mr. Rowell retired from Delta Air Lines after 36 years of employment. Prior to that he served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Nannie Jo “Nan” Rowell; daughters, Sally Smith of Fayetteville, Julie Rowell of Newnan, Valerie Burrell and her husband Kevin of Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Todd Smith and his wife Natalie, Rob Smith and his wife Michelle, Andy Smith and his wife Janee, Aynsley Burrell, Zach Burrell; great grandchildren, Thomas Smith, Isaiah Smith, Brandon Smith and Kimberly Smith.
A memorial service will be held Sat., April 25, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Chambers and Steven Chambers officiating.
