Mrs. Kathleen Rausin Moses, 79, of Fayetteville, Ga. died peacefully at her home on April 13, 2015.  

She is survived by her husband Mr. William Gant Moses, daughter Dr. Nancy Temple Moses, son Rev. Dr. William Alexander Moses, daughter-in-law Jennifer Kaiser Moses and grandchildren Addison, Broecks and Caroline Moses.  Kay loved her family dearly.

Kay was born and raised in Sweetwater, Tenn. She attended Rhodes College and graduated from the University of Tennessee.  She earned a Master’s degree from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education and worked as a Director of Christian Education in Lexington, Va. and then as an assistant to Dr. Vernon Broyles at North Ave. Presbyterian Church in Atlanta until she married in 1966. She became a full time homemaker and mother, was active in her children’s schools and church where she later served as an elder.  She was a voracious reader and a supporter of the public library system.  

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Fayette Presbyterian Church, Fayetteville, Ga., with Reverend Morgan Hay officiating.  The burial will be immediately following the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City, Ga.  The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
