Community yard sale expected to be bargain hunter’s dream

Calling all bargain hunters.

Visit over 50 yard sales in one Fayetteville location at the Annual Spring Yard Sale on Saturday, April 4, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The yard sale is sponsored by the Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department and will be held in the Kiwanis Park at 980 Redwine Road. Free admission and free parking is included.

Shoppers at past sales have come from Norcross to Macon, Lithonia to Luthersville and everywhere in between. All vendor spots have been sold including over 14,000 square feet of booth space

Items expected to be for sale include;

  • Clothing (infant – adult), baby & early childhood items, and toys;
  • Antiques, home décor, books, videos, music, and home accessories;
  • Furniture, household items, handmade arts & crafts and baby blankets;
  • Tools, hardware, yard equipment, and woodworking equipment;
  • Sports & exercise equipment and auto supplies!
  • Music, videos games, computers, electronics and tools;
  • Wrought iron decorations, antique linens, old coins, and woodcraft items;
  • New & custom-made jewelry, collectibles, Pampered Chef, and Avon products;
  • Baked goods and more.

Also save the date for the next Annual Fall Yard Sale in October. Vendor booth registration will start in August.

The Fayette County Parks & Recreation Department offers community yard sales twice a year (spring and fall).  Additional information will be listed in the 2015 FCPRD Fall Activity Brochure available in late July.
