St. Gabriel’s fish fry starts this Friday
Knights of Columbus, James P Lyke Council 11458, St .Gabriel Catholic Church, will host its annual Friday Fish Fry, each Friday from Feb. 20 through  March 27 (closed Feb. 27). The first plate will be served at 5:30 p.m. Adult meals are $8 per plate; child meals $5 per plate. Both baked and fried options are offered. The church is at 152 Antioch Road, Fayetteville. COS offers Lenten dinners, services
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church will host mid-week services during Lent on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 25. The services will center around a study of “The Prodigal God” by Timothy Keller. Small-group discussions will follow the 30-minute services. Family dinners will be offered at 5:30 p.m. Reservations may be made at 770-487-8717. Also during Lent, daily devotional thoughts are being written by congregation members. These reflections will be available to any interested person at the church’s website, www.coslutheran.org.

Awana Theme Night set at Woolsey
Woolsey Baptist Church, 115 Hampton Rd. in Fayetteville, will host Awana Theme  Night on Wednesday, Feb. 25. Enjoy a Chick-fil-A meal for $2/person from 6 – 6:30 p.m. Contact the church office for more information, 770- 461- 9618, or visit  www.woolseybaptist.org/.
