Ambassadors at Robert J. Burch Elementary School in Tyrone are learning not only leadership and people skills, but also the importance of giving to others.
The group of ambassadors recently spent a week selling small items to other students for 50 cents. The week-long project allowed them to practice marketing and advertising skills, as well as business and finance skills.
After their fundraising was complete, the ambassadors voted to donate the $33 they raised. Their proceeds have been donated to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
