Chances are that anyone in the crowd who attended last year’s Habitat luncheon won’t want to miss this year’s event.
Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity, Inc., is celebrating the achievements of community partnerships alongside business and civic leaders from all over Coweta County at the Newnan Centre at 1523 Lower Fayetteville Rd. in Newnan.
This will be Newnan-Coweta Habitat’s third event at this premier facility and it invites the public to attend and learn about the latest reason to be proud of the community.
Kathy Bohannon, a local, award-winning writer and humorist, will be attending to share comedy and stories with the audience.
“[Bohannon] shares the humorous highlights of life-interesting happenings along the way from childhood to adulthood,” according to www.therobinsonagency.com. “Audiences will enjoy vignettes about Kathy’s children, whom she says ‘lovingly drove me nuts when they were growing up’ and of her husband ‘who is surely in line for the title of saint.’ Audiences quickly discover how crazy life can be with a husband, kids and a vast number of animals sharing the same slice of real estate.”
There will be food, laughter, a silent and live auction and an opportunity to network with over 300 community leaders at The Newnan Centre.
It all starts at 11 a.m. on March 26. For tickets or more information, call 770-252-9049, ext. 15, or visit [email protected].
