First Presbyterian’s Music for Missions to feature jazz, dancing, auction Nov. 14

Enjoy live music, dancing, and a silent auction while supporting local and international missions, on Friday, Nov. 14 at First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City.

“Music for Missions” will feature the band, Peachtree Jazz Edition playing big band dance hits accompanied by singer Toni Byrd. The concert and dance will take place in Smith Hall from 7 – 10 p.m.

Tickets are available for $10 each. Seating is limited and reserved tables for 10 are available for $100. Hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be served. Childcare, with advance reservations and ticket purchase, will be provided for $5 per child.

Tickets may be purchased at the church Welcome Center during business hours or on Sunday mornings.

Some of the items available for bidding at the silent auction are baking baskets, a pair of pearl earrings, autographed Zac Brown tour posters and CDs, a “parent’s night out” package, a handmade necklace and earring set by Elizabeth Theisson and a UGA hat autographed by 1989-1995 coach Ray Goff. New silent auction items are arriving daily. Call the church office, 770-487-7757, to donate to the auction.

First Presbyterian Church missions benefiting from all proceeds of the concert and silent auction include Community Welcome House, Fayette Samaritans, First Presbyterian Preschool, Healing Bridge Clinic, Promise Place, Summer Lunch Program, Operation Christmas Child, Presbyterian Homes, Thornwell Children’s Homes and Stop Hunger Now.
