A new committee saddled up to organize the 2014 Cattle Barons’ Ball for the American Cancer Society. The committee has lined up a fun-filled array of games, dinner, a silent auction and a night of dancing music, all adding up to an inspiring event to benefit cancer research.

The 12th annual ball begins at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Wyndham Peachtree Hotel and Conference Center in Peachtree City. The Fayette County event has raised more than $1 million for cancer research over the past 11 years. This year’s chairwoman is Sarah Palmer, and she hopes to add a significant amount for cancer research and services through sponsorships and ticket sales.
For more information, to purchase tickets, or to see sponsorship opportunities, go to www.cattlebaronsballga.org. Silent auction items would be greatly appreciated as well.
Individual tickets are $150, tables of 10 are available at $1,800, and numerous sponsorship levels are available so everyone can help “give cancer the boot.” Dress is western or comfortable/casual, with a traditional western theme that is fun for everyone.
