The Fayette CARE Clinic would like to thank the Lions Club of Peachtree City for donating a Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope. The Fayette CARE Clinic provides the uninsured residents of Fayette County with healthcare services such as medical, dental, vision, chiropractic care, dermatology, cardiology, gynecology, education and mental health services. With the help of the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation and Dr. Nancy Barr, the Fayette CARE Clinic is able to offer approximately 30 patients a month with vision services. The donation of the Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope (BIO) is crucial to assessing the patient’s retina health. In addition, special magnifying lenses used in conjunction with the BIO and microscopic examination of the patient’s eyes were donated to help serve the uninsured residents of Fayette County.
